Control the temperature whilst bathing in natural light, both these products were specifically designed for Australian conditions and use enhanced solar control to keep buildings cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

Glass sizes

When toughened and supplied as a grade A safety glass;

  • 4mm can be supplied to a maximum area of 2.2m2
  • 5mm can be supplied to a maximum area of 3.0m2
  • 6mm can be supplied to a maximum area of 4.0m2
  • 8mm can be supplied to a maximum area of 6.0m2
  • 10mm can be supplied to a maximum area of 8.0m2
  • 12mm can be supplied to a maximum area of 10.0m2

Considerations

Please note the presence of haze may be perceived under certain light conditions. Please see The Appearance of Haze in Glass Products technical briefing in resource centre.  

When single glazed these products are not designed to prevent surface condensation and their insulating capacity is reduced should this occur. K&K Glass Insulating Glass Units are recommended in these situations.
