ComfortHush™ is an Insulating acoustic laminated glass from Viridian – designed to provide quiet comfort from unwanted noise.

ComfortHush™ glass absorbs external noise and maintains a comfortable temperature in your home. Whether it’s nearby traffic, an overhead plane or noisy neighbours, ComfortHush™ has been designed to help you escape from the daily grind and make your home a sanctuary.

All performance data is determined using LBL Windows 5.2 software. NFRC 100-2001 conditions have been used.

Considerations

To avoid noise leaks, you need to ensure that ComfortHush™ is installed in a frame that's well sealed and professionally fitted. If the frame isn't sealed properly then ComfortHush™ can't work to its full potential.

Always consult with K&K Glass or your designer/architect on the appropriateness of this product for your specific application need.

The presence of haze can occur in some lighting conditions. Consult to a sample and your K&K Glass representative for guidance on the correct tone selection for your application and conditions. 

ComfortHush™ is not designed to prevent surface condensation and its insulating capacity is reduced should this occur. 

The Low E coating on this product requires special cleaning, installation and care to ensure it maintains its quality on install and beyond. Refer to the resource centre for care and cleaning guidelines.

Always assess your chosen product for thermal risk prior to specifying. 

The Low E coated surface should be glazed to the inside of the building. ComfortHush™ should not be used when the surface is permanently exposed to the exterior. 

Samples should be viewed by designers and building energy professionals consulted for suitability. Where colour consistency is important only use on thickness. For large projects, please consult with K&K Glass. 

The placement of air conditioning vents adjacent to and directed on the internal glass surface coating may reduce the performance of this product.
